PROGRAMMES OBJECTIVES
The objectives of Post-Graduate Programme in Business Management focus on developing expertise in problem solving / decision making and enhancing Managerial skills. The institute aims:

To provide a broad based, flexible and integrated education in the roles, functions, tasks and responsibilities of managers.

To develop awareness of long term dimensions in managing a business.

To prepare the students to meet the requirements of rapidly growing needs of the economy especially in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Operations, Personnel and Systems aspects of management.

To create awareness about the need for ethics in management, and honing leadership skills.

| DURATION OF STUDY |

The duration of the programme is two years( of four semesters)

First & Third Semesters July to December.

Second & Third Semesters January to April.

The total work load, in lectures, class preparation, seminars, assignments & field visits is expected to be a minimum of 48 hours a week.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
Three weeks orientation in English Language, Mathematics and Statistics and Elements of Accounting are provided based on one's academic record to make the deficiency if any. |
