Integral Institute of Advanced Management (IIAM), established in 1987, is the pioneer in management education in and around the region. Prof. K.K. Das, a doctorate from Harvard University, U.S.A. was the founder director of IIAM and has laid a path for the highest standards of academic excellence. Sri K. Phanibhushana Rao, is the Chairman, Board of Governors. A proven academician, able administrator and a missionary, Sri K.Phanibhushana Rao chartered growth and progress to IIAM.
Prof. B.Parvathiswara Rao, Former Rector (Pro Vice-Chancellor), Andhra University, who has vast national and international experience in teaching Management, presently heads the institute.
The Institute is located at MVP Colony (the largest township in Asia), Visakhapatnam, the city of destiny. Visakhapatnam is also the seat of education in the State of Andhra Pradesh. With a humble beginning in 1987, the institute has grown from strength to strength and so far twenty one batches of qualified and trained students of IIAM have found themselves placed in prestigious organizations.
The strength of the institute lies in its curriculum, the dedicated faculty, the appropriate infrastructure fortified with state of the art computer-labs. The institute has consistently established 100 percent placement.
The students participate in various committees that deal with different administrative matters, short-term project, summer project work, extension lectures and seminars etc. Visakhapatnam being an industrial place, the regular interface with local industrial executives is strong dimension to keep the students updated with latest in the corporate scenario.
The institute has been ranked No.1 in among the top ten B-Schools in Andhra Pradesh and has been ranked 54 among the 100 B-Schools in India by “Business World” survey 25th May, 2009 at the national level.
