About the Institute :

Integral Institute of Advanced Management, established in 1987, is the pioneer in management education in and around the region. The institute has maintained the highest standards of academic excellence under the guidance of Prof. K.K. Das. A doctorate from Harvard University, U.S.A., Prof. K.K. Das is the acknowledged pioneer of management education in its present form in the country. Dr. K. Madhavi Latha, who has vast national and international experience in teaching management, presently heads the institute. The institute has been ranked among the top ten B-Schools in Andhra Pradesh and has been ranked B by “Business India” survey 2006 at the national level. The strength of the institute lies in its curriculum, the dedicated faculty, the appropriate infrastructure fortified with state of the art computer-labs. The institute has consistently established 100% placement.

Dr. M. Gopalakrishna Reddy, former Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University, is the Chairman, Board of Governors. A proven academician, able administrator and a missionary, Dr. M. Gopalakrishna Reddy chartered growth and progress to IIAM.

The Institute is located at MVP Colony (the largest township in Asia), Visakhapatnam, the city of destiny. Visakhapatnam is also the seat of education in the State of Andhra Pradesh. With a humble beginning in 1987, the institute has grown from strength to strength and so far seventeen batches of qualified and trained students have found themselves placed in prestigious organizations.

The Institute has been ranked among the top ten B-Schools in Andhra Pradesh and has been ranked AL-3 vide business India survey 2005 at the National level. Being a private, autonomous educational institute, this indeed is a remarkable achievement. The strength of the institute is in its curriculum, the dedicated faculty, the appropriate infrastructure fortified with state of the art-computer-lab and topping all, the dynamic and visionary Director, who is the architect and monitor of the restructured programme.

The students participate in various committees that deal with different administrative matters, short-term project, summer project work, extension lectures and seminars etc. Visakhapatnam being an industrial place, the regular interface with local industrial executives is strong dimension to keep the students updated with latest in the corporate scenario.

Aims of the Institute :

To Contribute to the growth, development and spread of management education of excellence and relevance, keeping pace with the changing business environment both at the National and International level.

To impart up-to-date knowledge using the perspectives, concepts, tools and techniques in the field of management to pursue careers in business and governance.

To develop an "in-house"Management Service Centre with a focus on Management Development Programmes (MDP) for the industries and the business community of the region.

Pinnacle :

Pinnacle is the annual B-School meet completely organized by the students of IIAM. The students are wholly responsible for its planning and execution, including raising the necessary funds from the local business community. A part of the expenditure is met with sponsorships from leading commercial establishments in the city.

Students of different business schools from all over the country are invited to participate in the two day programme. The programme includes events such as business quizzes, mentoring, competitions such as leadership, public speaking, business games etc., A festive atmosphere prevails for the two days culminating in a colourful cultural programme which bring out the other talents in the participants.

"PINNACLE" and "EVOKE" are totally students organized and managed annual B-school events covering academic and cultural aspects is a great fillip to students talent deliberation.
